The corporate services executive said MTN Ghana committed millions of Ghana Cedis to the fight against Covid-19 and part of that went to invest in the well-being of staff.
“Of the more than ¢ 100 million MTN that Ghana has committed so far to complement the government’s effort in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, ¢ 29 million went to investments in personnel.
“These include the provision of personal protective equipment, 45 buses for the transport of front-line personnel and the establishment of a social assistance fund.”
Koranteng said that the company was cracking down on mobile money (MoMo) fraud committed primarily against its customers and implored subscribers not to have conversations about its MoMo wallet.
