Actively Sports is a tennis and sporting events facilitating institution that together with the Michael Nortey Foundation have partnered to organize this year’s tennis championship to help prepare and recognize the potential of youth tennis.
The Sidney Katz Junior Open for Under 12s and Under 14s is scheduled for October 26, 2020 on the tennis courts of the Accra Sports Stadium.
National top tennis professional Michael Nortey, through the generosity of the Katz Family, the New York Youth Tennis Learning Center and others have been helping minor tennis in Ghana through the distribution of tennis materials to young people.
Other supporters of the program include New York Juniors Tennis Learning Center, Active, and BKwei Concepts.
Through this competition, the organizers wish to achieve additional agreements to help improve youth tennis in Ghana.
Actively Sports’ Ms. Cathy Morton said she is delighted with the return of sports and urged people to stay excited about fighting Covid-19 by participating in the event.
Informed parents and guardians to motivate their children to participate in sports and entertainment to realize their abilities.
He stated that young girls are invited to the Sidney Katz Junior Open from October 26 to 31.S t at the Accra Sports Stadium.
