Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been backed to the hilt in his second summer window on the bench at Stamford Bridge.
After working his way through a wire embargo 12 months ago, Lampard has been able to spend money this time.
Seven veteran players have arrived, with a sum of more than 200 million pounds, forming a team who hope to compete at the top of the Premier League.
Attacking talents such as Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz have signed; while Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr have strengthened their defensive ranks.
Kepa Arrizabalaga’s start to the season in form also meant that the Blues boss brought in a goalkeeper, with Edouard Mendy coming in with a £ 20 million deal from Rennes.
That window-wide work means it could be a quiet day in terms of spending, but going the other way, there could be multiple exits.
Lampard is looking to cut back on his squad, either through loans or permanent exits.
Here, Sport look mirror Six deals that could be completed before the 11pm deadline tonight:
PLAYERS IN:
Declan Rice (£ 40 million)
The main name tied to a possible move on Deadline Day is West Ham star Declan Rice.
Lampard is a big fan of the English international, who has started this season in good shape.
Reports have suggested that Chelsea has proposed a trade deal involving two players going the other way.
But according to Hammers assistant manager Alan Irvine, they have no plans to replace Rice, suggesting that only a big-money offer would land a deal.
“We haven’t been looking to replace him,” Irvine said Sunday.
“We have been looking for players but we have not been looking for a replacement for Declan because we have no intention of selling him.
“Every player in the world has their price, it would certainly be an extremely difficult situation for us if something happened.”

Thomas Partey (£ 45 million)
Chelsea have become a late competition for Atlético de Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
Arsenal have been linked to the Ghana international for much of the window, but have so far been unwilling to honor his £ 45m release clause.
The 27-year-old is a regular at Wanda Metropolitano, but the Spanish team is keen to ditch the players to fund a move for Arsenal player Lucas Torreira.
PLAYERS OUT:
Callum Hudson (Purchase Loan)
Hudson-Odoi has been a long-term target for Bayern Munich since their bid to sign him failed in January 2019.
The German champions have already had a loan offer rejected, in a deal that would have given them the option of signing the striker for £ 70m next summer.
Lampard made his stance clear this weekend, starting Hudson-Odoi in a win over Crystal Palace this weekend, but he declined to rule out a move.
“There is no definitive answer,” he said Saturday. “By Monday we will know the answer.
“They may have expressed their interest, which is one thing, but as I just said there regarding the squad, everything that happens on Monday will be things that are good for us as a club in the first place because Callum is our player, and what Callum wants comes into consideration.
“It has to be suitable for everyone. At the moment I want Callum as part of my team, especially with what he offered today and the second half against West Brom. That’s where I am. “
Reports in Germany suggest that the talks have entered a “critical phase”.
Jorginho (£ 50 million)
Chelsea are said to be willing to sell the midfielder, even though he is a regular in Lampard’s starting XI.
The Italian scored two goals in the win over Crystal Palace but is attracting the interest of London rivals Arsenal.
The Blues value Jorginho at £ 50m and could cash in on him if it helps fund a move for Rice in the last few hours.
Antonio Rudiger (loan)
The German international is above the requirements after the arrival of Thiago Silva and could be transferred.
Tottenham, PSG and AC Milan have linked up with Rudiger, with suggestions that Chelsea would rather not lend him to a direct Premier League rival.
AC Milan is said to be leading the race, after reports suggested the Italian giants had started talks on a one-season loan deal.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (loan)
After Ross Barkley was surprisingly allowed to go on loan to Aston Villa, his midfield colleague is rumored to be available as well.
The England international is sought after by Premier League teams in the form of West Ham and Southampton, although his high salaries could be a problem.
Reports have suggested Chelsea is willing to pay a portion of his salary to work out a deal on Monday.
