Middle and high school sophomores will return to school today, Monday, October 5, 2020.
This is to allow them to complete the second semester and the third quarter respectively, which were interrupted by school closings as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) management has assured parents and guardians that all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of students while at school.
“All the schools have been fumigated and disinfected. In addition, personal protective equipment (PPE) has been distributed to all schools, ”GES assured parents.
Additionally, the GES has urged school authorities, staff and students to strictly adhere to the security protocols established by Covid-19, as the pandemic is not over yet.
“Management urges parents / guardians and the general public to continue supporting and cooperating with education authorities to ensure successful academic work in all schools,” concluded the GES.
