The Rev. Dr. Setorwu Kodzo Ofori, moderator of the Global Evangelical Church (GEC), has asked citizens to show a high level of maturity in the upcoming elections.
He said it is important for all Ghanaians, especially politicians, to ensure that their actions and inactions protect the peace in the country.
Rt Rev Dr. Ofori said this in a sermon during the funeral of the father of the NPP Volta Regional President, Mr. Makafui Woanyah.
The moderator said that peace can be achieved through love and mutual concern, noting that “we are called to show love in a visible way.”
He played the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Bible and admonished everyone to regard everyone as neighbor and extend unconditional love to them, emphasizing that there would be no total peace without love.
