Entertainment expert Arnold Asamoah has set the sails for rapper Kwaw Kese, who is advocating for a presidential debate before the start of the elections in Ghana.
Kwaw Kese, as previously reported, is calling for an immediate presidential debate between current President Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama before the December elections.
According to the ‘Dondo’ hitmaker, a debate will not only provide a platform for contesting ideas, but will also help Ghanaians make an informed decision before casting their votes on December 7.
This push from Kwaw Kese has been enthusiastically received by many Ghanaians who think it will be a step in the right direction, especially when Mahama has launched a debate challenge to President Akufo-Addo.
Arnold Asamoah thinks otherwise. According to him, it is never mandatory for Akufo-Addo to discuss Mahama as it is not stipulated in the constitution.
Speaking on the Entertainment Review Show on Peace FM, Arnold Asamoah disagreed with Kwaw Kese’s defense that a presidential debate be organized by all means before the start of the vote.
