The Ghana Education Service (GES) management reminds parents and guardians that SHS 2 and JHS 2 students must return to school on Monday, October 5, 2020.
This is to allow them to complete the second semester and the third quarter respectively, which were interrupted by school closings as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the GES, all the necessary measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of students while they are at school.
“All the schools have been fumigated and disinfected. In addition, personal protective equipment (PPE) has been distributed to all schools, ”GES assured parents.
The GES further urged school authorities, staff, and students to strictly adhere to the security protocols established by Covid-19 as the pandemic is not over yet.
“Management urges parents / guardians and the general public to continue supporting and cooperating with education authorities to ensure successful academic work in all schools,” concluded the GES.
