The attorney for the president’s executive secretary, Nana Bediatuo Asante, has denied allegations by some Ga bosses that his client is trying to claim a plot of land near the Sandbox Beach Resort.
This comes after some Los Angeles bosses and aggrieved people, specifically the Abafum Djaase at a press conference, warned the Executive Secretary to the President to stay off the ground or he himself will be at fault.
The delegation headed by one Jeffery Tetteh alleged that Mr. Asante had tried to reclaim the land by destroying a concrete wall that had just been built by the people of Abafum with some gun-carrying thugs on Tuesday.
However, in a statement issued by the Minkah-Premo & Co law firm on Friday, they stressed that the accusation made against their client is false.
“We strongly affirm that our client does not own or have any interest in Sandbox Beach Resort. Furthermore, we declare that our client has not acquired or claimed title to any adjacent parcel of land, ”the statement read.
The law firm also noted that the claim that its client used the nation’s machinery, or visited the site with armed thugs by virtue of his position in the current administration, to seize the context of the parcel of land is “totally untrue. and absolutely despicable. “
“As an accomplished attorney of great repute, with vast experience in acquiring land through legal means, our client is very familiar with the complex legal processes of land acquisition and therefore does not need to resort to illegal means of any kind to to be able to acquire land if they wish, ”he added.
The lawyer then asked the delegation that made the “false, unfounded and slanderous” allegations to apologize without reservation within the next 48 hours.
“We have advised our client on the various legal options available to him, including the initiation of a defamation action in the event that the above claim is not served.
“We fervently hope that the creators of these reprehensible falsehoods will do what is necessary to make this matter final.”
