Kwesi Pratt, Editor-in-Chief of Insight Newspaper
Kwesi Pratt, editor-in-chief of the Insight newspaper, has sent his good wishes to all political parties ahead of the 2020 general election.
Speaking on ‘Kokrokoo’ on Peace FM, Mr. Pratt asked Ghanaians to offer prayers for the parties saying “We wish them the best. We wish them all the best. Those who pray are praying for them and those who cannot pray. but doing other things they are also doing for them. ”
However, he advised the parties and their candidates not to make statements or take actions that could fuel violence in the elections.
Mr. Pratt also admonished the Electoral Commission (EC) to behave well as the Electoral Management Body of Ghana to ensure free and fair elections.
He advised the Commissioners to be aware of his statements before the elections.
“They should be aware of their statements because if they don’t, but speak in the way that some of them have said before, it can create chaos.”
On the part of the Ghanaians, the veteran journalist urged them to go peacefully to cast their votes on December 7.
He hopes that the elections will end in peace and stability.
