Don’t you dare call Mahama incompetent – warns Ofosu Ampofo to Bawumia

National opposition NDC chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo says Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has no moral authority to describe the party’s standard-bearer, John Mahama, as incompetent as ever.

According to him, Dr. Bawumia does not have the audacity to question the competence of former President Mahama when the ruling nuclear power plant has performed poorly since he took power, especially with regard to the mismanagement of the economy that has left Ghanaians in financial difficulties.

“Why should Dr. Bawumia keep referring to former President Mahama as incompetent when the NPP government has lamentably failed the Ghanaians? Ghanaians have now compared the two main political parties and now know that Dr. Bawumia and his boss, President Akufo Addo, are the incompetent ones. Bawumia told Ghanaians that he arrested the Cedi and handed over the keys to the IGP, but we are all witnesses to how the Cedi has performed under his supervision as Head of the Ghana Economic Management team, ”he said.

Addressing a meeting in Enyan Maim in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo stated that what the government of the nuclear power plant does best is to collapse the companies, as seen during his tenure.

“Most of Ghana’s banks and savings and loan companies that provided job opportunities for our youth have been collapsed by the PNP government, leaving large numbers of people unemployed. We cannot leave Ghana in the hands of the NPP for another four years. I urge everyone to vote massively against the NPP in the December 7 elections and usher in the NDC to put Ghana back on the right track. “
