Ghana forward Kamal Sowah has noted that he is happy that his double against KAA Gent on Saturday helped his OH Leuven side to a 3-2 win.
Due to his explosive start to the season, Kamal Sowah earned a starting role to help his side chase away victory yesterday during a match on Matchday 7 of the Belgian Pro League.
The forward made another outstanding display and managed to find the back of the net twice.
First, the 20-year-old scored in the 41st minute after Xavier Mercier helped him shoot OH Leuven up front.
With Mathieu Maertens doubling the lead for the visitors just before half time, Kamal Sowah would return later from the break to score after just 3 minutes of the second half to complete his double.
In a post on his Twitter page today, the young man has expressed his joy at his performance while encouraging his teammates to keep up with the momentum.
“What a game yesterday for the whole team !!! I couldn’t be more pleased to take two and take all 3 points! We fight until the last minute, let’s move on guys !!!!! ”Sowah’s post read.
This season, Kamal Sowah has appeared in all 7 of his team’s matches and now has 3 goals to his name.
