Two more die from COVID-19 in Ghana, now 299 deaths

Two more people have succumbed to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Ghana.

This brings the cumulative number of deaths to 299.

Ghana has also registered 131 new cases, bringing the total number of positive cases to 46,353.

This was contained in a last update from the Ghana Health Service on Sunday.

The new cases were registered in the Upper East, Oti, Ahafo, Volta, Eastern, Ashanti and Greater Accra regions.

The Western, Central, Bono East, West North, North, Northeast, Savannah, High West and Bono regions did not register new cases.

The number of recoveries / discharges is now 45,577 with 477 active cases.
