It is the dream and joy of every parent to take their children down the hall.
Many feel very honored and respected by their children when they are presented with the opportunity and the chance to “brag” about the fact that they were raised well.

Zambian President Edgar Lungu is the man who feels this way right now, moments after saying goodbye to his daughter in their new home.
President Tasila Lungi’s daughter exchanged wedding vows with the love of her life Patrick Mwansa on Saturday morning, September 26.
The lovebirds officiated their union in the Iglesia Católica Parroquial de San Ignacio.
Well, before the bride could get to church, she received all the blessings from her parents, specifically her father, who walked her down the aisle as he handed her over to her man.
To start the day, President Edgar shared several photos of himself, his family, and his daughter in their dress, getting ready to go to church on social media.

Accompanying the photos, the president revealed how excited he was to finally say goodbye to his daughter, who will always be his baby.
Edgar added that his daughter had honored them with the official church wedding.
She also congratulated her daughter and her man on the legend and wished them all happiness even as they start a new life.
” Giving away your daughter is not an easy thing for a father. I woke up with mixed emotions. In my eyes, she is still a child, my child. Tasila has honored us and filled me with joy when I proudly walked her down the hall, shaking hands with Mr. Patrick Mwansa in marriage. For both of you, look to God and your marriage will be a success. The Bible says in Ephesians 4: 2 “Be completely humble and meek; be patient, supporting one another in love.” And in 1 Peter 4: 8, the Bible says “Above all, love each other deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins. May God bless your union,” he wrote.
Later, the president was seen in a video walking with his daughter down the church aisle looking all excited.
Many people were moved by the video of the president and couldn’t help but praise him for being and showing the qualities of a good father.
Tasila and her boo have undergone marriage formalities, such as pre-marriage lessons at St. Ignatius Parish in Lusaka, as required by the Catholic Church.
The two previously held a public engagement at the aforementioned church and duly informed the world about their upcoming wedding, which eventually came to pass.
