The largest opposition Democratic National Congress (NDC) has disassociated itself from a fundraising platform: www.jmdonations.org.
The website with a towering image of NDC flag bearer John Dramani Mahama, as well as his running mate Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, asks people to contribute to the NDC campaign for the 2020 general election. .
“Get involved with the contribution, be proud. Together as a people, we can achieve more than one person could do alone, ”the website attracts potential donors.
But the NDC in a statement signed by Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, Deputy Secretary General, said the website has neither the standard bearer nor the party’s blessings.
Consequently, the general public was advised to ignore it because the donation platform is a scam.
“We wish to make it clear that neither the Flaggers office nor the Democratic National Congress Headquarters have sanctioned the aforementioned fundraising link and as such we urge all supporters, members, supporters and the general public to ignore this link. and treat it like a scam. “
