A group of volunteers from the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) say they are hopeful that President Akufo-Addo will win the 2020 elections based on the development of infrastructure across the country and the various social intervention programs that are improving. the life of the Ghanaians.
According to Maseratis for NPP, the delivery of various pledges in the 2016 manifesto, including the introduction of NABCo and SHS for free, will give the party the necessary votes.
Speaking during a campaign at the Mallam market in Accra, the group’s president, Vina Ama Mensah, said that the Akufo-Addo-led government has performed well in its first term and must be sustained to continue transforming the nation.
This, according to her, will ensure further development.
“What we want to do is help the PNP by mobilizing the people and soliciting votes for the party so that President Akufo-Addo can continue with his good policies.
“It has introduced NABCo, which is employing many unemployed graduates, and it has also introduced the free SHS which has made it possible for people who had no hope of continuing their education due to financial constraints.
“This means that a vote for the PNP will mean a vote for the president to do more,” he explained.
In addition, he urged other party members and the general public to support the PNP and also to vote so that President Akufo-Addo can have another chance to improve the economy.
“We are hopeful that when the national elimination plan is four more years old, the country will do better,” he concludes.
