Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng will join AC Monza from Serie B in the ongoing transfer window.
The 33-year-old will meet former Italian Prime Minister and AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi, who is the owner of the club.
Boateng was signed by AC Milan after the 201st World Cup under former President Berlusconi.
The former Barcelona midfielder has been convinced by the former AC Milan president to help the club seek promotion to Serie A.
He will sign the contract with the Serie B team on Thursday night in the city of Monza.

Boateng will undergo a medical examination for the second division team before receiving the contract to play for the Italian club.
The Black Stars forward last season was on loan to Turkish Besiktas.
He has worked with Hertha BSC, Tottenham, Borrusia Dortmund, Portsmouth, Genoa, AC Milan, Schalke, Las Palmas, Barcelona, Sassuolo, Fiorentina and Besiktas.
