The Electoral Commission (EC) has extended the voter display exercise by two days.
This, according to the commission, is intended to serve the interests of its stakeholders and promote greater participation and inclusion.
With this, the exercise that began last Friday, September 18, would end on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
A statement issued by the EC on Wednesday said: “The Commission is of the opinion that this extension will allow even more interested parties to verify and verify their voter registration data. This is critical to achieving a clean and credible voter registration.
“Therefore, the last day of the Exercise of the Exhibition will be Sunday, September 27, 2020. We encourage the Public to take advantage of the extension by taking time to verify their registration data”
