The Ghana Fitness and Bodybuilding Association (GBFA) has launched its annual event, “Ghana Men and Women Bikini” in the conference room of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).
This year’s competition serves as an avenue for selecting athletes for Black Muscles, the national bodybuilding team.
The event called “Peaceful Contest” aims to spread the message of violent free elections before the next elections on Monday, December 7.
Mr. Abdul Haye Yartey, GBFA president at the launch, admonished athletes to be disciplined and stay away from violence before, during and after the general election.
He said that “this year’s edition was going to be special and stronger than previous years in all the challenges of COVID-19. Be disciplined and stay away from violence. “
The Man Ghana and Female competition is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the National Theater with musical artists performing that night.
Male and female bodybuilders were at the launch to show their readiness and preparation ahead of the event.
