Emmanuel Kwakye, a 45-year-old man, has vowed to hang himself at Elimina MA Basic School in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem district after stabbing his girlfriend to death.
Information gathered by Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan revealed that the suspect, Emmanuel Kwakye, stabbed Georgina Sayel to death in her unlocked room in Kakumdo, a community on Cape Coast, leaving her in a pool of blood and on the run.
Police were informed about the incident after which they visited the crime scene. Upon inspection of the body, a deep wound was found on the lady’s left rib. A search of the room uncovered a bloody black kitchen knife.
Further information suggests that Georgina was the girlfriend of Emmanuel whom she helped complete her tertiary education. But then she left the relationship on the grounds that Emmanuel was a taxi driver and not her class.
In pain after being dumped, Emmanuel decided to teach her a bitter lesson, so he invited her home for a surprise package. Unaware of Emmanuel’s evil intention, Georgina went home excitedly after which she was murdered.
Emmanuel is said to be a married man and the father of one.
Their bodies have been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital morgue.
