The Porcupine Warriors are reportedly considering a move for the seasoned right-back for his upcoming season’s campaign.

Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom is set to make a sensational return to Ghana’s Premier League giants Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Light FM, Asante Kotoko officials are currently in talks with the 31-year-old about a possible acquisition for his 2020/21 campaign.

Inkoom is not linked after the expiration of his six-month contract with Georgia’s top league club FC Samtredia.

He only played nine games for FC Samtredia during his time at the club.

He was denied a new contract by FC Samtredia after failing to live up to expectations during his short tenure at the Georgian club.

Kotoko is currently looking for a right back to back up the talented Christopher Nettey.

The Porcupine Warriors reportedly contacted Medeama SC for the services of Samuel Appiah as a replacement for Augustine Sefah, who was released following the expiration of his contract.

Inkoom’s arrival at the Kumasi-based club will boost his defense with his vast experience after spending ten seasons in Europe.

He previously participated in FC Basel, Dnipro, Bastia, DC United, Boavista FC, Antalyaspor, Vereya and Dunav Ruse.

Inkoom has been capped 46 times for the Ghana senior team with one goal to his credit.

He was a member of the Black Satellites team that won the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup held in Egypt.
