Ghana’s Premier League team AshantiGold SC has completed the signing of Empem Dacosta in the ongoing transfer window.

The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Miners boys after a successful negotiation Tuesday night.

Dacosta became a free agent after parting ways with Asante Kotoko.

Dacosta joined Kotoko on a three-year deal with Karela United in the Premiership last year.

However, he made three appearances for the club under Maxwell Konadu in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which was canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

AshantiGold SC has already signed Hans Kwofie, Yaw Annor, Nathaniel Asamoah, Boadu Dacosta, Michael Enu, Stephen Bentil and Matthew Agama.

Furthermore, Burkina Faso goalkeeper Aboubacar Sawadogo has been acquired to strengthen its goalkeeping department.

The four-time champions Ghana are ready to begin preparations for the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup campaign following the easing of restrictions on soccer.
