The Ghana Football Association (GFA), on Tuesday 22 September 2020, organized a training session on the use of the national transfer system [DTMS] for all Premier, Division One and Women’s Elite Clubs TMS managers.

Over the years some clubs have had problems with the transfer of national players and this measure by the GFA IT Department has been helpful in removing all barriers related to transfer activities.

“As the Ghana Premier League, Division One and the elite women’s league resume, clubs will transfer players domestically and it is important to stay up-to-date with advice on using this transfer system. said GFA IT Director Francis Adu

“This will give football authorities first-hand information on transfers of national players and will help clubs to transfer players more quickly and easily,” he added.

The web-based training is a data storage system whose main objective is to simplify the process of transferring players as well as improve transparency and the flow of information.

As part of the measures to ensure transparency, DTMS will help the association and its clubs to manage and monitor national transfers, generate statistics to help reduce the duration of the transfer process and store required documents securely online.

The DTMS is mandatory for the national transfer of professional and amateur footballers of both sexes in soccer competitions.
