PPP Urges Youth to Emulate the Commitment and High Standards of Past Leaders | Politics

The Progressive Popular Party (PPP) has urged young people to reflect on the various legacies and actions of the ancestors and emulate their commitment and high standards.

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency, as the country commemorates the brave heroes, and particularly remembering Osagyefo’s 111th anniversary, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president, also encouraged young people to let themselves be guided by a sense of discipline, support for local industry, and history and culture.

He said that an important milestone, worthy of praise, was the Nkrumah Education Accelerated Development Plan, which produced many brilliant professionals across the political divide because it was free to all.

“As we celebrate this day, let us count our blessings and be proud to fight to curb corruption, boost the economy, consolidate democratic governance, deal with insecurity, and honor Nkrumah’s vision of industrializing the nation with Ghanaians on the dominating heights of the economy, “it said.

“Let us never forget that governments come and go, but citizens will always be the ultimate base of what is real and worthy.”
