Manchester City had their final quest for the Premier League title off to a winning start with a close win over Wolves.

Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring from the spot for City in the 19th minute. The midfielder was fouled in the penalty area by Romain Saiss and shot the resulting penalty at Rui Patricio.

Phil Foden made it 2-0 after 32 minutes when he fired a pass from Raheem Sterling after a deft move from City opened the Wolves.

The hosts responded in the second half with a powerful header from Raúl Jiménez but despite the pressure, City secured victory when Gabriel Jesús added a third in injury time.
