The standard-bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged members and supporters of the party to take advantage of the display of the provisional electoral roll to verify their data.

Former President John Dramani Mahama made the appeal when he addressed the chiefs and people of Amanten in the Atebubu-Amanten constituency to begin his three-day tour of the Bono East region, according to a statement issued by Mr. James Agyenim -Boateng, campaign spokesman for the NDC and with a copy to the Ghana News Agency, said on Friday.

Mahama said it would be regrettable if any eligible voter was disenfranchised due to their inability to verify details in the voter register.

“We must use the energy that was displayed during the voter registration exercise for the exhibition exercise because it could happen that your name was not captured or was misspelled, and the necessary correction will be made so that you can participate in the elections,” he said.

The NDC Flag Bearer therefore urged all who registered to visit their polling stations with their new voter identification cards to verify their names, as that was an important step in the march to victory for the NDC. Party on December 7.
