It wouldn’t have made news if one sees the other wearing a nasal mask, but this woman has gone viral with her mask. Discovered upon entering a store, this woman is seen wearing the New Testament Bible as a nasal mask.
Although people on social media have made fun of the move, this is not healthy.
The Food and Drug Authority recently introduced a procedure on how to use homemade nasal masks to protect “yourself” against the pandemic.
The Authority explained that face masks must be able to filter out particles and still be easy to breathe.
FDA requirements say: It is recommended that the fabric used for the face mask be free of all chemicals. In any case using printed fabric, the fabric layer in direct contact with the face should be a smooth fabric that is free of chemicals.
The FDA added that: Reusable homemade face masks should be washed properly before reuse. Used homemade face masks should be disinfected first; then it is washed with soap or detergent until it is clean, rinsed under running water; dry in the open sun and iron before reusing.
