Ghanaian media personality Naa Ashokor has called on women to stop forcing themselves only to be described as wife material.
Society has made it seem that men are supposed to meet the basic needs of a family and on the other hand, women are also supposed to take care of the family.

In a typical African home, women are said to spend their time and do household chores for the family.
Naa Ashokor, from her recent comment on social media, seems to disagree with those standards.
In her Instagram post, she advised that women should normalize luxury in their lives and preserve it for themselves.

She wrote “Dear women, if you can get a housekeeper, please get one. If you can get a cook, get one. Always look for easier ways to do things. Your femininity shouldn’t be about suffering. Normalize luxury in your life; be preserved. “
