The Chairman of the Volta Regional Nuclear Power Plant, Makafui Woanyah, inaugurated the campaign committee
The New Patriotic Party (NPP), keen to increase its electoral fortune in the Ho West constituency of the Volta region, has launched a campaign committee.
The 29-member committee would be responsible for planning and coordinating the party’s campaign activities before the December elections.
Volta Regional Nuclear Power Plant Chairman Makafui Woanyah, who inaugurated the committee, implored members to take a scientific approach in their campaign activities.
Therefore, he recommended that they design strategies to help win electorates for the elephant fraternity, to consolidate the achievements of the PNP in the region.
In addition, he asked them to continue to propagate the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led government with constituencies at the grassroots level.
”We don’t need to participate in unnecessary rallies and meetings. Let’s get the good message of the PNP to the local population, ”he said.
Ho West PNP parliamentary candidate David Togbe Nfodjo, who expressed optimism about the emerging win over current Member of Parliament of the Democratic National Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Bedzra, in the eighth general election.
He called for concerted efforts by all members during the campaigns “to secure every vote in the constituency.
“There are some polling stations that I know I will definitely win, but the biggest threat is that some constituencies indicated that they will vote for me but not vote for President Akufo-Addo,” he said.
Therefore, he urged members of the PNP to campaign seriously against this and expose the voters to the consequences of voting “in a skirt and blouse.”
“Voting for me without Nana is useless because if you vote for me and I win and you vote for Nana and he also wins, that indicates that we have contributed to the victory of the PNP and we will be rewarded accordingly,” he emphasized.
