North Tongu MP and NDC campaign team member Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has praised former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur’s wife for joining Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang’s campaign.
Matilda Amissah-Arthur, who hails from the Region, joined the NDC running mate to tour parts of the Western Region to poll for the vote.
In a Facebook post, Ablakwa described the act as “beautiful and inspiring.”
“It is beautiful and inspiring to see former Second Lady HE Matilda Amissah-Arthur join her good friend and NDC career partner Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to campaign in the Western Region, her beloved home region, where is very dear. United for victory 2020, ”she said.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang began a four-day tour of the Western Region on Sunday.
The tour aims to understand and find solutions to the challenges faced by the people of the Region.
He has also been making courtesy visits to traditional authorities and religious leaders, as well as interacting with a wide range of stakeholders from all walks of life.
The tour comes on the heels of their recent six-region tour and also focuses on sharing highlights of the NDC’s ‘People’s Manifesto’.
