Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman offered an update on forward Luis Suárez after Wednesday’s 3-1 friendly win over Girona.
The Dutchman did not include Suárez again in his call-up of the day, with the forward strongly linked to a withdrawal.
However, it is still unclear if Suarez will actually leave before the transfer window closes, and Koeman says he is still waiting to see what happens.
“I was talking to Luis this morning. We are waiting to see if there is a way out or not. We respect the contracts and from day one we have said that if he stays in the squad, he will be one more ”.

Recent reports have suggested that a move to Juventus has not materialized, but Suarez may have other options on the table. It is also quite possible that he can now stay in Barcelona and fulfill his contract.
Koeman reportedly told Suarez that he would be above requirements when he first arrived, but his latest comments suggest he would be willing to work with the 33-year-old.
