According to Kaakyire, it’s time for these new artists in the industry to sit down and write good songs that will impact the people of society.
“When you listen to songs produced today, you see that it is the same word or one that is used repeatedly; however, when you listen to the lyrics of my song ‘Kwadonto’, you prefer to be inspired,” said Kaakyire Kwame Appiah. .
Speaking in an interview with Hammer Nti on Kumasi-based Pure Fm, Kaakyire stated that they should focus on making great music that inspires and stops repetitions.
Kaakyire Kwame Appiah is not the first veteran artist to criticize the content of modern music.
Most of the music critics in recent times have also lamented the quality of music that young artists are bringing up.
