Akufo-Addo promises government support for Jospong

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his government’s unreserved commitment to provide Zoomlion Ghana Limited with the necessary support to provide the waste management infrastructure towards a lasting solution to Ghana’s waste problems.

“Zoomlion has proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is the panacea for Ghana’s waste management problems over the years and I will support them to succeed. And I am not ashamed, so wherever they go, too. I make time to go there. ” up”.

The president was cutting grass for the installation of a solid waste treatment plant in Goaso, the capital of the Ahafo region.

Nana Akufo-Addo had already mowed grass for similar facilities in a week at Techiman and Sunyani in the Bono East and Bono regions, respectively.

He assured the chiefs and people of the Ahafo Region that there is no way for his government to ignore them when distributing development projects of the national kitten, since they too deserve development like the others.

The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Ms. Cecilia Abena Dapaah for her part said that the government is doing everything possible to provide the necessary infrastructure for the benefit of the people of Ghana, including the Ahafo region.

He congratulated Zoomlion for their efforts and stated that all the waste that the region generates on a daily basis will be turned into compost for agricultural use and plastics for domestic and recreational purposes.

Jospong Group of Companies (JGC) and Zoomlion Ghana Limited CEO Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong praised the president for spending time this week installing three of the plants, among other efforts the government is making to enable the group provides the best for the country.

He said his company will make sure it supports government policies to be successful.
