Parents and teachers of a Salvation Army School candidate have turned to prayer while hoping that she could write her final exam without hindrance.

The candidate who is currently participating in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at Mawuli High School in Ho suffered what her parents call a “spiritual attack.”

Narrating the incident to Joy News, her father, who only gave his name as Prophet, said that his daughter has been under a series of spiritual attacks just after her mother’s death a few years ago.

The loss she said has made it difficult for her to focus on anything, including her studies.

During her first job Monday morning, she broke down and had to be taken out of the exam center.

“Every time we pray, the spirit manifests through my daughter that he was responsible for my wife’s death and that he would make sure that the girl did not write her exam. But by the grace of God, I think she will stand out, ”said her father.

The general director of the Ghana EP schools, Marian JA Adzroe in an interview said that the exam started on a successful note but because of the brief interruption due to the ‘spiritual attack’ that the candidate suffered.

However, he noted that the authorities have high hopes that BECE 2020 will be one of the best without any obstacles.

Meanwhile, the Volta Regional Councilor, Dr. Achibald Letsa, in his regular rounds at the various centers in the region, urged the candidates to avoid any bad practice in the exams that could cause them problems.

He wished them success as they proceeded to write the remaining seven articles over the next four days.

Dr. Archibald encouraged them to do everything they can to benefit from the government’s free high school policy in 2021.
