Attorney Maurice Ampaw has called for strict sanctions against Assin Central lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong, whom he believes has been spoiled for too long.
For him, Kennedy Agyapong is not above the law and therefore needs to be shown “some pepper” for insulting a judge.
Maurice Ampaw said this while speaking in an interview on Accra-based Neat FM: “He has been pampered for far too long in this country. He is not above the law. “
For him, taking a good look at the activities and life of Kennedy Agyapong makes him think that the businessman is possessed by some evil spirits, so regardless of the apology that has been presented, he needs to be punished.
“Your apology shouldn’t take away from the fact that what you did was wrong. You should not escape punishment for this behavior. He behaves as if he were possessed by a spirit. “
Kennedy Agyapong has been cited by a Superior Court Judge, Amos Wuntah Wuni, in contempt after the legislator called him “stupid.”
The Assin Central legislator is said to have used some non-printable words against the judge and threatened to deal with him for issuing an interlocutory court order in a land case in which he is involved.
