Kumawood’s family actor Andrew Ntul Mensah, aka Scorpion GH, suspects that the unknown attackers who shot him were hired to kill him.
According to them, the actor and other tenants of the house have confirmed that the gunmen repeatedly said that he was their target.
The actor was shot twice in the thigh and rib by gunmen who broke into his apartment early Thursday morning.
Scorpion GH, who often plays action roles in movies, was able to flee the scene after fighting criminals.
However, he suffered gunshot wounds and was later rushed to Komfo Anokye University Hospital for treatment.
His brother, who spoke to Luv News’ Nana Yaw Gyimah On anonymity, he said his brother is lucky to be alive.
“My brother told me that when the assailants came to him, one said to kill him and let’s go, so it was obvious that they were only there to kill him,” he said.
He said that because Scorpion ran out of the room, he saved his wife and children from being hurt.
“He was their target so they ran after him when he escaped and shot him twice before he [Scorpion] I received help from the neighbors, ”he said.
The family is appealing to the police to find the suspects and bring them to the book.
“We thank God for saving his life, but we want the police to arrest the gang,” he added.
