National PNP organizer Henry Nana Boakye has praised the 2020 manifesto his party launched in Cape Coast ahead of the December presidential and parliamentary elections.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto was a combination of achievements by the Akufo-Addo administration and future promises to be fulfilled if Ghanaians grant the government a second term.
Delivering a speech during the launch of the manifesto, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia touted the manifesto as “second to none”, compared to all governments in his first term under the Fourth Republic.
“The investment in infrastructure by the government of the nuclear power plant during the last three years has been enormous. I dare to say that our investment in infrastructure, our infrastructure record, is unsurpassed by any government in its first term under the Fourth Republic, ”stated Dr. Bawumia on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 during a virtual city council meeting and a results fair showcasing the NPP Infrastructure Registry, held in Accra.
“Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the completion times of some projects, the data indicates that in the fourth republic no government has achieved as much in its first term in terms of infrastructure projects that it started in its first term as the PNP government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, ” said the vice president.
President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President have pledged to establish a national rental plan to help young graduates purchase apartments, make student loans without a guarantor, build an airport and a new port on Cape Coast, among others. promises, and assured the Ghanaians that they won. Don’t let them down in the next four years of your administration.
Speaking in Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”, Nana Boakye expressed her joy at the party’s manifesto and stressed that it is the only manifesto that captures the projects that a government has achieved, as well as new initiatives to improve the progress of the economy.
He cited some incumbent government policies like the Factory District 1 1, Free SHS, and a myriad of other projects that the president promised to Ghanaians and has relentlessly delivered on all promises.
For him, the PNP manifesto is the best of all time under the Fourth Republic.
“I dare say that it delights me every time I look at our manifesto. For me, since I followed politics under the Fourth Republic, this manifesto is the best manifesto. ”
