Accra Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley has dismissed reports that she will be leaving Accra Hearts of Oak just six months after joining the club.
Reports abounded in the media that the 28-year-old defender who recently joined Hearts of Oak is leaving the club.
The player was reportedly terminating his contract to move abroad in search of greener pastures as there was a lucrative offer on the table for him.
The player in an interview with Kumasi FM, has denied those reports saying that he is surprised to hear that news since he is still a Hearts of Oak player.
“I was surprised to hear that I am leaving Hearts of Oak, I don’t know where the news comes from, it surprises me.”
He called on Hearts of Oak fans to ignore the news and treat it as a mere fabrication.
“The fans should ignore this and treat it with great contempt.”
Sulley says he’s looking forward to playing at least one season for the Hearts and winning trophies before he can think about leaving.
“I want to at least play for Hearts of Oak this season, win the league and make it to the group stage of the Champions League.” added.
The center-back, who first played for the Phobians between 2011 and 2014, was welcomed back to Accra in May when he signed a two-year contract.
He returned after being in Libya, Egypt, Turkey and Iraq.
