The Porcupine Warriors have yet to reach an agreement with Medeama SC on the permanent acquisition of their midfield dynamo.

Ghana’s Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have stopped their talks with Medeama SC for Judge Blay permanently ahead of next season’s campaign.

The yellow and mauve boys have reportedly listed $ 100,000 as the 28-year-old defensive midfielder’s transfer fee.

Asante Kotoko SC CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah is considering other options due to executor Black Stars ‘B’ high transfer fee.

Blay joined Asante Kotoko SC on a one-season loan deal from Medeama SC ahead of their 2019/20 CAF inter-club competitions.

Kotoko has decided to secure her signature permanently after her husband’s loan period at the Kumasi-based club expired in July.

He played a pivotal role in Asante Kotoko’s last campaign in the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

Blay scored two goals in his 13 league appearances with Asante Kotoko in Ghana’s truncated 2019/20 Premier League season.

He was voted the club’s player of the month award in February.
