Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah broke his scoring streak for Besiktas in a preseason friendly against Antalyaspor on Friday.
Mensah has had a lot of playing time since joining the Black Eagles on loan from Kayserispor this summer.
The Ghana international, who carved out a niche as a scoring midfielder during his time with the Anatolian Stars, has been unable to serve his new fans with scoring pleasure.
However, he proved his ability to score with dead eyes during the team’s friendly match against Antalyaspor when he scored a superb goal in the 40th minute.
Besiktas had obtained the advantage after three minutes of play thanks to the attack of Atakan Uber.
Ilkay Isler sealed the resounding victory for the Vodafone Park team in the 84th minute.
Mensah took a breather when he was replaced by Kartal Yilmaz in the 64th minute.
