Kennedy Agyapong, a member of Parliament for Assin Central, is unhappy with the National Peace Council for its inaction on some accusations it made against the Democratic National Congress.

For the past several weeks, Kennedy Agyapong has been making some wild accusations against the NDC, including an alleged plot to assassinate Election Commission Chairman Jean Mensa.

He claimed to have uncovered a plot by the NDC to wreak havoc on the nuclear power plant’s fortresses and also remove some bigwigs from the nuclear power plant.

The legislator named himself and Abronye DC as two people who could be victims of the “evil” plans of the NDC.

In detailing NDC’s alleged plans on Net2 TV, Kennedy Agyapong said they will “use a Sprinter bus to get Abronye off the road and if they find out he’s not dead, they’ll finish him off. Me too, they’ll kill me. Jean Mensa will also be assassinated. They affirm that they have experts at the headquarters of the EC and that they will do bad things to win the elections ”.

His claims were treated with a pinch of salt by the Peace Council and state security and Kennedy is unhappy with his apparent silence.

Kennedy Agyapong said that he has observed that when problems have to do with the NDC, the Peace Council is quick to intervene, but gets into their shells when it is against it (the PNP).

“The Peace Council and CSOs don’t act when you say these things. Anything around NDC, they won’t say a word. If an NDC man came up with this information, he would have seen Asante giving press conferences, but no one will act on it. “

NDC for playing tribal cards in the Volta region

After realizing that its popularity in the Volta region has waned, the NDC intends to play the tribal card and dissuade ‘volunteers’ from voting for the NPP.

In addition, the NDC plans to train the youth of the region to fight against army officers who will be deployed to the region in the December elections.

“They said they will train the Volta Youth to resist and fight the soldiers. I tell my friends in the Volta region not to listen to them. The soldiers are mad now over the murder of Major Mahama and the beating of those soldiers. Now they are angry so you can’t go wrong. If they ask you to fight, ask them to lead with their children.
