Ghana forward Jordan Ayew picked up where he left off last season after pocketing a double in Crystal Palaces’ pre-season friendly win over Charlton Athletic.
The Crystal Palace player of the season opened the scoring at the hour mark after taking advantage of a strong cross from Wilfred Zaha.
Jordan Ayew cleaned is wonderfully second after he was released by midfielder Andros Townsend.
Wilfred Zaha completed the scoring for the Eagles after a remarkable run from the midfield line, to face three defenders before shooting into the net.
Ayew was the top scorer for the South London team last season, with nine goals in the English Premier League.
His compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp was also in action for the Premier League team.
