Robert Lewandowski has chosen his five best traditional forwards in the world, and only one has practiced in the Premier League.
The Pole and his Bayern Munich team will return to action this weekend when the Bundesliga becomes the first major European league to resume after the coronavirus crisis.
Bayern will face a trip to Union Berlin on Sunday, hoping to preserve or even extend a four-point lead that they have at the top of the table by the end of the weekend.
Lewandowski was having his best season before the interruption of soccer, scoring 39 notable goals in just 33 appearances in all competitions.
The 31-year-old is considered by many to be the best number 9 in world football, but when asked to name who he considers the best, it was only Sergio Aguero of Manchester City who made the list from England.

Indeed, since the Premier League has many more unconventional forwards like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marcus Rashford, then Lewandowski was limiting his choices.

Another more traditional number 9 is Erling Braut Haaland of Borussia Dortmund, and Lewandowski had some advice for the new star man of his old club.
“It has great potential, but it still has time. I don’t want to pressure him with my statements, “he added.
“If you work hard, you can become a better player and eventually reach the highest level. So it might be good for him if he stayed in the Bundesliga longer before taking the next step. “
