United ‘declines’ meeting with Mino Raiola on transfer of Erling Haaland
Manchester United reportedly declined the opportunity to meet with Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola about a possible summer transfer.
Raiola and the player’s father, Alf-Inge Haaland, were seen arriving in Barcelona on Thursday and reportedly held talks with the La Liga team about the forward’s future.
Reports have claimed that the pair will travel to England for talks with various Premier League teams, but according to the Sun, United have decided not to meet with Raiola.
Rooney wants to keep Mengi on loan at Derby
Manchester United youngster Teden Mengi joined Derby County on loan in January and has impressed with Red Devils legend Wayne Rooney.
The 18-year-old has appeared in both center and right-back and Rooney wants Mengi to stay at Pride Park for one more season.
He told Athletic: “I would very much like him to come back next season. Now he is in the player.”
Scholes gives verdict on the transfer of Haaland or Kane
Paul Scholes has urged Manchester United to target Haaland over Harry Kane, telling the Webby & O’Neill YouTube channel: “I know there is a lot of talk about Haaland, it’s going to cost a lot of money. Harry Kane at Spurs, there are rumors that you may want to leave.
