The awards ceremony was held virtually with Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley as the main hosts of the ceremony with the support of comedians OB Amponsah and Lekzy Decomic.
Legendary Nana Acheampong, Gyakie’s father, joined Daina Hamilton, Efe Grace, Larruso and others as entertainers at the ceremony with top-notch performances prerecorded and streamed live from Medikal, Joey B, Adina, Camidoh, Mr Drew, KiDi, Gyakie Yaw Tog, Kwaku Flick, and Kofi Jamar.
The night saw KiDi winning MVP Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Act for Mr Drew, Eno Barony winning Rapper of the Year, Medikal taking home an award as Hip Life / Hip Hop Artiste of the Year with Davido, who emerged as African Act of The year.
