The Ghana Health Service launches investigations into how three health officials steal and sell Covid-19 vaccines.

Homeland Security arrested three of them on charges that they steal vaccines and sell them for profit, while the vaccines are free.

Occupational Safety and Health Officer Cosmos Allotey received the stolen vaccines from a Pabitey and another suspect, Dzisenu administered each shot of the vaccine to people for around $ 30.

The director general of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Patrick Kumah Aboagye, addressed the press on the matter and said that they began to work, in addition to national security and health institutions to discover the case of theft.

“We started an administrative procedure for various leaders in those centers to help us and also inform and discover others that we do not know,” says Mr. Kumah Aboagye.

According to GHS, law enforcement agencies are willing to cooperate further to discover the circumstances leading to the thefts.
