Popular Kumawood actress Christina Awuni has angrily criticized the Reverend Counselor, Mrs. Charlotte Oduro, for being overly critical of married women and encouraging them to suffer in silence in hopes of saving their marriages.

The gifted actress expressed her disgust at the counselor’s statements about wives having to ‘pamper’ their unfaithful spouses.

On an Accra radio station, the actress suggested that advice on marital issues should be given to both couples and not just to women, as both parties contribute to the success or failure of their union.

“I totally disagree with her. Since some women are evil, so are some men.

Even if she advises that wives pamper their husbands, she should also advise husbands to stop cheating on their wives. As the proverb says ‘while you advise the piece of fish, you also advise the cat’ ”.

In a video that went viral weeks ago, Lady Rev. Charlotte Oduro was on the air advising women to stay out of it and support their men in every situation. He went on to advise women to tolerate and pamper their unfaithful spouses.

Her statement sparked a lot of negative comments when some women persecuted her for forgiving women who suffer in their marriages.
