AFCON U-20 winning goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has expressed his joy after joining the Black Stars team for the first time in practice on Tuesday.
Asante Kotoko’s cap received his first invitation from coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor after his exploits with the Mauritania U-20 team.
Ibrahim was joined by tournament MVP Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Dreams FC defender Philimon Baffour.
“Very happy to join the senior national team (Black Stars),” he posted on Twitter.

The 18-year-old and his U-20 teammates will continue preparations with the country-based Black Stars team ahead of international assignments later this month.
The Black Stars will face South Africa in Game 25 before hosting São Tomé and Príncipe four days later.
Ghana leads Group C with 9 points and is seeking a ticket to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
