Angel di Maria was withdrawn while Paris Saint-Germain was in the middle of a game with his family, victims of an extremely violent robbery.
Mauricio Pochettino followed him while PSG director Leonardo looked disturbed on the phone.
After the game it was revealed that his house had been robbed and his family was still inside.
It’s more, RMC Sport they report that the incident had become “extremely violent” while the winger was not the only player attacked.
Di Maria’s teammate Marquinhos has also been targeted with the robbery at his parents’ home.
Pochettino returned to the bench shortly after when PSG suffered a shocking 2-1 loss to Nantes.
It is believed that the entire Argentine family was in the house at the time, including his two young daughters.
His wife, Jorgelina, was also at their home in Paris at the time of the robbery.
This is not the first time that Di Maria has had experiences with thieves.
While playing for Manchester United, his Cheshire home in Prestbury was the scene of an attempted robbery on January 31, 2015.
The incident played a role in his decision to leave the Red Devils after just one year.
Di Maria had just signed a new contract with PSG earlier this week, extending his stay at the Parc des Princes for another year.

Le Parisien has reported that the contents of an upstairs safe were raided at his home while a specialized burglary unit was dispatched to Neuilly-sur-Seine.
This is not the first time that PSG players have been attacked.
During the past 18 months, Sergio Rico, Thiago Silva, Eric Maxim Choupo Moting and others have been victims of serious robberies.
In his post-match press conference, Pochettino did not confirm the incident but did refer to matters other than football.
He said: “There are situations outside of football that also explain the second half.
“It’s not an excuse, but it caused a reduction in energy. Full time, we talked about other things besides football.”
