Barça are five points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid after having played one more game, but have a chance to capitalize on the fact that the league leaders face Real Madrid this weekend. Osasuna, on the other hand, is six points above the relegation zone.
The Dutchman said on this one occasion that Barça would back his archrival, Real, given the difference in points with Atleti.
“It is always better for the team that is in first place to lose points, but first things first, and that is what we have to win,” he said.
