Sports journalist and soccer commentator Kwabena Yeboah is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sports journalists in the country.
Kwabena Yeboah is primarily known for his role as host of GTV’s Sports Highlights, which has become synonymous with his personality.
Turns out, Yeboah has been the host of the Sports Highlights show on GTV for 27 years. Today, Friday February 26, 2021, is the anniversary.
To celebrate Yeboah’s anniversary, another sports journalist Saddick Adams, popularly known as Sports Obama, has taken to social media to praise the iconic commentator.
Sports Obama took advantage of his Twitter to share a collage of photos of Yeboah. One of the photos shows Yeboah sporting afro hair in his youth. The other shows it in its current state.
Sharing the photo, Sports Obama wrote:
“Kwabena Yeboah is celebrating her 27th anniversary as a Sports Highlight host on GTV. One seat, one show, one channel, one host since February 1994. Our father, our uncle, our LEGEND!”
Obama’s post has sparked a lot of reactions and many people have greeted Kwabena Yeboah.

In other news, the former captain of Togo Emmanuel Adebayor has visited Funny Face at Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
In one video, Funny Face was seen in a good mood and smiling as he sat down with the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker.
The visit that comes after months of a strained relationship between the two had Kwaku Manu playing a role.
